Two Cards to Share

After a very long break from posting I finally have another couple of cards to share with you.

The first is a card I did last month for a "mingle" on one of my yahoo groups. The theme of this mingle was a card for a female. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the flowers on the front. The CS is a pink shimmer, with a black matte finish used for the borders. The wording "Happiness-Joy-Bliss-laugh" is one of my many clear stamps. Thanks to M-J for the little black bow, she had just the right ribbon to give this card the finishing touch.

The second is one I made yesterday for my niece's birthday that is coming up next week. I got the idea for this card layout from one I received in a mingle. I used my Cuttlebug twice to emboss the front of the card and then again for the border. The ovals were made with "nesties".
A piece on red with white polka dots grosgrain ribbon ties it all together.

Sandy

A touch of "Spring"?

This is a card I made for a "mingle" on one of my Yahoo card making sites. It had to be "pink" or yellow. Of course I chose pink as it is one of my favourite colours! The flowers and embossing were done using my Cuttlebug. I am hoping that those of us who still have snow on the ground will soon see a "touch of Spring"! LOL

A cute note card in its own folder

As we often say in cardmaking..my "mojo" has left me lately. But on Friday I did finally made something I liked. It is called a Criss Cross Card and as you can see by the two views it is a note card that fits into its own pocket. It it nothing new but I had seen it a couple of different places. The first was in the December 2007 issue of ScorPal's E-Zine, as well it is on the SplitCoastStampers site.

I do hope that this means that my days of enjoying creating cards are returning...I will share what I do as it comes.

Thanks for dropping by,
Sandy
